- 2. Understanding and troubleshooting electrical
controls
Introducing the maintenance technician
to the common language of electrical controls.
Upon completing the class the
technician will have a better understanding of:

- 1. Logic circuits (and, or, not, nand, nor)
- 2. Troubleshooting techniques
- 3. Sequencing
- 4. Timing circuits, on and off delay
- 5. Motor control circuits
- 6. Operators language to electrical language
- Example: contacts close on pressure rise, contacts
open on temperature increase
- inputs, outputs vs action or signal
devices
- 7. Manual vs, automatic operations

This course is designed to educate the
technician in relay logic to better understand Programmable
Logic Controls.
Paul, our instructor is a Master
Electrician, State of MI and has taught the above courses to
electrical contractor's electricians and maintenance
technicians.
